Koprülü Canyon is a National Park. This valley of wild beauty, rich in flora and fauna, is a centre for rafting. Restaurants specialise in fresh trout.
Geography
- Köprülü Canyon means “canyon with a bridge”.
- The canyon stretches for 14 kilometres, around the Köprü River, and is 400 metres deep in some places.
- The Roman Oluk Bridge over the canyon and the Bugrum Bridge over the Kocadere stream were both major feats of engineering when they were built.

- Admission to the National Park, located 120 km to the west of Alanya, is free.
- Restaurants offering delicious food, especially fresh trout, are found at the end of the asphalt road.
- Many white water rafting companies are based at the end of the asphalt road. They focus on entertainment, rather than serious sport.
